The church lovingly restored in 2005 making our mission statement of radical hospitality manifest in brick and mortar. We are now fully accessible to all areas of ministry.

Church Mission Statement:
We are called to proclaim the gospel, advocate for justice and serve others in our diverse parish. Lake Park Lutheran Church is a “Reconciling in Christ” Lutherans Concerned/North America congregation (LGBT welcome) and a member of MICAH (Milwaukee Inner City Congregations Allied for Hope), we are also a Green Congregation, showing God’s love and care for all creation. Our diverse congregation welcomes you.

Lake Park Church derives it’s spiritual roots from and is part of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) the largest Lutheran denomination in the United States. The ELCA has a proud tradition of diversity in both membership and opinion and that diversity of thought is reflected in the dynamic dialog that defines Lake Park Lutheran Church.
