When Lake Park Lutheran was founded in 1911, its mission was “to serve
the bustling neighborhood between the beauty of Lake Michigan and the
activity of the Milwaukee River.”  As our congregation has grown so
has our ability to serve.

In 2011, Lake Park Lutheran Church will celebrate its 100th
anniversary.  This presents an amazing opportunity to honor our past,
celebrate our time together and, perhaps most importantly, set our
path for the future.

An important part of that future is a renewed commitment to service.
To do this right, we need your assistance.  Please contact the church office if you haven’t had a chance to participate in the survey yet.

The next step in this process is the church-wide forum on May
16th from 6-7:30pm.  We hope you can join us.

Lake Park Young Adults~

Come on Saturday for a Game Night at Vicar Matt’s Apartment, 2649 N. Hackett Avenue, Apt. 6.

We’ll begin at 6:30 p.m., and play into the night! Bring an appetizer (Prizes for the best one) and a favorite board or group game. We’ll enjoy a great time. Both alcoholic and NA beverages available! Hope to see you there!!

Join us, Sunday May 2nd from 6-8PM for our third and final conversation.

We’ll discuss several theologians and their response to the technological advances. We’ll also look at our own care for creation movement and social justice activities and see how they are changed, helped, or hurt by our new pattern of life.
