Examining Racism & Privilege Focus Group. This will be a small group which meets Sunday afternoons for 2 hours over the course of 6 weeks. We will continue the conversations we began in our November Sunday morning adult forums on prejudice, power, structural and institutional racism, and white privilege. We plan to use focused listening, group conversation, both local and national data, as well as the PBS documentary series “Race: The Power of an Illusion” (2003). Each session will also include time for prayer, reflection, and healing.
