LPLC Partnership Update

While Lake Park is involved with Alice’s Garden,we also have been involved with the Kids Working To Succeed (KWTS) program at All People’s Church, our partner congregation.

During the spring and summer, the KWTS program grows their own garden.

You can participate in one of two ways. One would be on the day the kids work and involves both working wth the kids and making and bringing ‘bag lunches’ for the them. The second is working an hour or two with other adults on the days the kids don’t work.

The work always takes place in the morning. You can come as an individual, with friends or family.

The dates are: May 26;

June 4,6,8,11,13,15,20,22,25, 27,29;

July 6,11,13,18, 20,25,27.
