Holy Saturday - April 3rd
Easter Vigil Service at 9PM A service that is an ancient tradition moving us from the darkenss of Good Friday to the joy of Easter morning. We begin outside with a fire. From the fire we light one candle, the Light of Christ, and slowly process into the Church. During the serive the Church brightens, and then… Light! We sing the Gloria! This year we also celebrate with a baptism!The service is followed by a dessert reception.
Easter Sunday - April 4th
7AM Sunrise Service at Lake Park - near Lake Park Bistro A beautiful service with other east side churches outside over looking the beauty of God’s Creation. 8:30AM - Easter Breakfast in the Fellowship Hall Members, bring a potluck dish to share!9:15AM Kid’s Education Time 9:30AM Kid’s Easter Egg Hunt 10AM Festival Worship A joyous celebration of Easter in the main Sanctuary. We open the “Alelulia” trunk that has been closed since Ash Wednesday and celebrate the resurrection with choir and instrumental music.
The celebration of Easter continues as we resume our regular Sunday worship and Education Hour on Sunday, April 11th
- Every Sunday at 8am (chapel service with conversation and communion) and 10am (full service with sermon and communion)
- Sunday School (age 3 - grade 5) at 9AM
- Confirmation (middle school) at 9AM - also meets some Wednesdays each month
- Adult Forum 9AM
- Fellowship at 11AM
