All Peoples Church Partnership/Food Pantry
All Peoples Church is our partner congregation in Riverwest. We celebrate meals and services together at various times during the year and support a food pantry together.
Care for Creation
The Care for Creation Ministry includes leading the continued development of identity and mission of the congregation to integrate care for creation and to actively promote ecological justice for earth and community. The Care for Creation team provides vision, coordination, education, and spiritual inspiration and support around this vision for the committees of the congregation and for the congregation at large. We also hold up that being part of God’s good creation, our charge to care for all of creation means, in part, caring deeply for each other.
Hospitality
If you enjoy making others feel welcome through the sharing of great food a drink join the Hospitality Team to share your gifts with our community. This group plans events at church including the Easter Breakfast, Picnic in the Park and the Block Party. They also work to coordinate Sunday Fellowship after the 10AM service.
Lutheran Campus Ministry Partnership
Did you know that Lutheran Campus Ministry at UWM actually started at Lake Park? The Campus Ministry, now located at the Corner House on the corner of Kenwood and Maryland, is a great gift to the students of UWM. Learn more about their ministry on their website.

MICAH
Lake Park is a member of Milwaukee Inner City Congregations Allied for Hope (MICAH), a multiracial, interfaith organization committed to addressing justice issues that impact the community in which we live. MICAH seeks to empower people to organize and take action to resolving critical issues as well as political iand social imbalance. Check out the MICAH’s website to learn more.

Outreach
Do you want to share God’s story? Do you want to turn your marketing skills into ministry? Can you help with the web site? Join the outreach team as we explore fun and interesting ways to reach out to our community. Meet our neighbors at Downer Days and in the neighborhood schools. The Outreach Team meets on an as needed basis.
Property
Do you have a knack for fixing or coordinating? Join the property team and help keep up our beautiful building. Join the property team and help beautify our space.
Social Ministry Support Team
The Social Ministry Support Team works to support the many social ministry activities of the church. The group coordinates delivery of food to the Food Pantry and voluteers for the Unity Soup Kitchen among other things.
Stewardship Team
Giving of our time, talents, and resources is a daily exercise as Christians. As a church, giving is lifted up frequently through study and preaching. The stewardship emphasis happens annually in November. Planning begins in the spring, and a team is put together to facilitate the emphasis early in the fall. We invite those who enjoy planning, doing mailings, and temple talks to participate in this team effort.
Unity Soup Kitchen
On the first Wednesday of each month a group of Lake Parkers cook up a storm at the Unity Soup Kitchen on Oklahoma Avenue. Join us to get to know others in our wider Milwaukee community.
Visiting Church Home bound & Hospitlized Members
Do you like to listen to and share stories, provide a warm smile and greeting? Contact the office to learn more about visiting some of our members who are home bound and unable to be part of the community on a regular basis.
