My name is Lynda South and I have been the church secretary for nearly 21 years. My nine grandchildren call me “Mimi.”  I have been here long enough to work with five pastors, six ministers-in-context, seven choir directors and now one vicar/pastoral intern. The one constant for me has always been the wonderful members at Lake Park.

I am married to Bruce, who I met in Luther League, forty-some years ago. We were married in Samuel Lutheran Church in Muskegon, MI, where we both were confirmed. Our four children were all baptized there. We have moved all over the Eastern half of the USA. Good thing traveling is one of my favorite things to do. That and reading to my grandchildren. My other favorite thing is sports. My friends call me the Fabulous Sports Babe. I love all Wisconsin sports teams, but my favorite team is the Brewers. Come to the office and check out my Brewers bobblehead collection. I like to cook, I love my coffee black, my favorite music is jazz, green is my favorite color and I can rarely turn down key lime pie.  And one more thing you might not know about me: You may have seen me in a parade. I used to be a Milwaukee Dancing Granny.
