Milwaukee Inner-city Congregations Allied for Hope
MICAH is a multi-racial, interfaith organization committed to addressing social justice issues that have an impact on the community and on the members of MICAH congregations. MICAH’s goal is to empower people to act together in pursuit of justice and to organize so that people of many traditions can come together with one voice for justice.

At Lake Park, as a member congregation:
The main emphasis is to strengthen Lake Park Lutheran Church and to support the work of all committees and activities.
Locally, interested members are called the Core Team and meet to advance MICAH issues within our congregation. In addition, the Core Team works on matters of neighborhood concern, such as noise and disruptions in our residential areas.
