Amidst the traditional stained-glass windows and vaulted ceilings, lies the true heart of Lake Park Lutheran church: a welcoming and diverse community committed to social justice, care for creation, spiritual education, and enriching the East Side community and beyond.

Love abounds at Lake Park Lutheran! As a Reconciling in Christ congregation, we welcome worshipers of all sexual orientations. Our spiritual family includes every generation, and from our nursery to our Tuesday’s Senior Group, we are thriving, and our Sunday School classes are growing at a record rate.

In celebration of our 100th anniversary in 2011, we focused on partnering with our sister congregation in El Salvador, revitalizing UWM Campus Ministry and partnering with the Urban Ecology Center and Alice’s Garden.

We also share our gifts as members of MICAH, East Side Senior Services, Luther Manor Auxiliary, and with our solar panel addition, we were one of the first faith communities to go solar! Since then, thanks to our faithful membership, we continue to grow in love and in the ministries we serve.

If you enjoy enlivening worship music, inspiring sermons, and have a desire to witness God’s love grow, consider making Lake Park your home!
